LEADERSHIP TEAM
Mycroft’s leadership team comprises diversely talented technology and management professionals with experience at Fortune 500 companies, aggressive technology start ups and mid-sized enterprises. Several have been with Mycroft and its recent merger partner, Talisen Group, LLC for a decade or more.
Terry Jost: Chief Executive Officer
Terry Jost has extensive experience leading global management consulting, systems integration and outsourcing companies. He has also led M&A planning and integration efforts for several manufacturing and services companies.
Before forming Talisen and subsequently merging that organization with Mycroft in 2007, Jost held numerous senior positions within Capgemini Worldwide, including: North American leader of Capgemini Outsourcing Services; CEO of Capgemini Technologies; vice president of business strategy and acquisitions, North America, and partner in charge of consulting services for Capgemini Americas Central Region; vice president of business development, business alliances & marketing, for CGE&Y North America; and vice president and general manager for CGE&Y’s North America area offices.
Prior to those positions, Jost was an equity partner at Ernst & Young LLP, where he held leadership positions including responsibility for business development of E&Y Consulting in the combined Manufacturing, Retail, and Energy Industry segments, and serving as leader of the E&Y North America Consumer Products Practice. Earlier, he held senior marketing positions at IBM Corporation.
Jonathan Freeman: Chief Information Officer
Jonathan Freeman has two decades of success in developing, commercializing and growing breakthrough technologies – a track record which propelled the organization he founded in 1988, Mycroft, into a national leader in networking and application security.
An early advocate of directory based architectures and virtual communities, Freeman is a pioneer in the development and deployment of directory services and identity management solutions. He works with commercial software vendors to strategize and validate their approaches, and is an esteemed advisor and leader in the Identity Management arena.
Freeman is also a strategist who knows the value of implementation, bringing a high level of intellectual and corporate acumen to clients. His background is in advanced computing and distributed architectures, designing large-scale, multi-processor systems for international corporations. Freeman’s specialties included massively parallel computing and middleware systems. He is currently working on the design and development of identity services, to be offered through Mycroft’s Network Operations Center.
Elizabeth Butwin-Mann: President
Since joining Mycroft in 1994, Elizabeth Butwin-Mann has been a driving force behind the organization’s emergence as a recognized leader in Identity and Access Management (IAM).
Today, Butwin-Mann is primarily responsible for shaping and guiding the company’s growth initiatives, marketing strategies and standards for customer service. She is particularly focused on building Mycroft’s integrated, comprehensive services suite, which encompasses expertise in assessment, architecture, development and implementation, as well as in maintenance, management and support.
Sam Tang: Chief Technology Officer
Tang works closely with President Jon Freeman in the development of new approaches to Identity Management and Security offerings. Tang is responsible for directing integration and software engineering for identity management solutions. He also leads the architecture and validation of Mycroft's specialized offerings, including frameworks for the implementation of commercial identity management products and vertical specific solutions for our clients.
Prior to joining Mycroft in 2002, Tang was the vice president of Product Development for Passlogix, Inc., where he directed and implemented product development and delivery for Software Engineering, Quality Assurance, R&D, Release Management, and Product Management. He also architected the LDAP implementation for Passlogix's Single Sign-On product line, which enabled global mobility of user identities and credentials.
Prior to Passlogix, Tang was the vice president of Software Engineering for Lazard Freres where he directed the development of products dealing with Corporate Finance, Broker Dealers, and Asset Management. At Lazard, Tang also directed the development of commercial quality products that integrated content management and directory services. He previously served as an assistant director at Ernst & Young, LLC where he directed all stages of product development for Asset Management, Purchasing, and other financial related initiatives.
Bing Dempewolf: Vice President of Human Resources
Bing Dempewolf joined Mycroft in 2007 with several years of experience in Human Resources, employee recruiting, employee retention, and immigration processes. She also has experience in IT implementation, integration and migration support, systems management, and help desk services.
Bing is responsible for all Human Resource functions and processes. Bing will primarily be focused on developing a responsive and flexible recruiting process that will serve the Mycroft customer in a timely manner.
Prior to joining Mycroft, Bing was the Director of Human Resources for a world class vending machine manufacturer. Bing was responsible for the development of the recruiting process, implementation of an online applicant tracking system, negotiating offers, employee reviews, employee retention, partnering with all departments and business units in acquiring the top talent. In addition to the recruiting process, Bing was instrumental in rolling out a new payroll system, a new hourly time reporting system, and conversion of various payroll system changes.
Mike Neuenschwander: General Manager, Strategy Practice
Neuenschwander is a thought leader in the identity management industry. Prior to coming to Mycroft, Mr. Neuenschwander was Vice President and Research Director at Burton Group--a company well known for its leadership in digital identity. Recently, Neuenschwander has received press attention for his work on next-generation identity services, such as the "limited liability persona" (LLP). A respected writer and speaker, Neuenschwander has published research on a wide range of identity topics. Market-leading software firms, including Microsoft, Oracle, and Sun, frequently rely on Neuenschwander's opinions to set strategic direction, as do a large number of Global 2,000 companies.
Neuenschwander was also at the forefront of developing directory services, meta-directory services, and provisioning products during his time at Novell. As a senior product manager, Neuenschwander was responsible for Novell's identity product line and worked on projects such as digitalme (which is now resurfacing under the Higgins Project.)
