Mycroft, ScaleMatrix jointly exhibit at Cloud Connect

Co-present on optimizing CA Technologies’ security portfolio

SANTA CLARA, CA., March 22, 2011 – At the Cloud Connect 2011 Conference, held here from March 7-10, Mycroft Inc. and ScaleMatrix demonstrated newly emerging opportunities to gain secure access to – and to optimize the performance of – enterprise cloud fabrics.

The annual Cloud Connect conference brings together leading organizations in cloud computing. Mycroft and ScaleMatrix co-presented as part of the CA Technologies show exhibit; Mycroft and ScaleMatrix recently formed an alliance to provide the industry’s first fully encapsulated security solutions.

The Mycroft and ScaleMatrix presentations focused primarily on Mycroft’s new Mycroft Elastic Accelerated Delivery (MEAD) Platform and Heimdall Portal.

The MEAD Platform, developed and managed by Mycroft, harnesses the attributes of cloud fabrics to deliver security products as a service in a secure environment. It is the industry’s first dynamically scalable, enterprise-class delivery platform offering controlled, accelerated access to identity and security solutions.

The Heimdall Portal provides secure access to elastic platforms by adding a role-based, access-control layer on top of the cloud interface. A key component of the portal, the Smart Architect, collects and analyzes non-technical user requirements to help them more easily select and deploy enterprise class applications on cloud infrastructures.
